The Princess Trap is an erotic, fantasy, narrative-heavy, slow-burn, interactive story featuring themes of feminisation, slow MtF transformation, submission, and crossdressing, as well as milder themes of sissification, corruption, bimbofication, exhibitionism, and humiliation.

This update includes a big change to how all filenames, passage names, and variables are organized, to help standardise and future-proof. As a result, all saves from 0.1.0 are incompatible with this version. I understand that this is a pain, but I could see that it was inevitable and I thought that it was better to get it over and done with sooner rather than later, when there's even more content to push through to get back to where you were.

Fantastic game, with a wonderful plot, amazing characters, and a fantastic slow burn story. Often times I'll read through games like this, and go "this could've just been regular written fiction," but this one is so different. The choices you make get you immersed, and are called back on regularly, until a Very Specific Point in the game where, to avoid spoilers, everything hits you like a truck. My only complaint for this game is that once I reached that point, I put my phone down for the night, only to realize there wasn't an autosave feature, and groaned so loud about it my girlfriend who was getting ready for work thought I was in genuine pain. Easy 10/10, easy recommend.
absolutely the best written game on this site, maybe even just the best around, and it's not even done yet. Excellent writing, lots of choices that actually matter and let you insert youself into the world, and it satisfies my niche princessification fetish very well. This is an immaculately executed piece of fantasy tg that I would happily pay for, especially if the art was more bespoke for the game itself. Images are fairly nice though, and AI is thankfully used sparingly. This isn't a game for a quick fap, but there's plenty of those on this site. Nothing even attempts what The Princess Trap aces.

Great game! Great writing the story telling is wonderful and the choices really make it a more immerisive experience.
It isn't a game that is completely centered around adult "activities' but uses them to make the story more interesting and fun.

If I were to describe this game in one word, I would without hesitation say it's amazing.
The story and writing has managed what very few games on this site (less than 5, probably) have - make me actually read every word of every line. The story, the plot is actually pretty good and interesting, and the writing itself is not only flawless, it fits the genre! And by that I mean the genre of interactive fiction: it actually meaningfully and nicely changes depending on the choices you make, and it's little, yes, but the writing is pleasant enough to read that when you notice the changes and think why they could've happened, you realise your choices influenced this. Sometimes, it's literally a single word or even just the tense of the word, and that attention to detail is endearing.
The TF themes are also implemented really well in the game - it's the somewhat common coerced feminization, and that too is written amazingly: while there is some "forced" content (the plot has to advance, after all), it is very interactive and the world reacts to the changes.
The only flaw I can honestly list is not enough content, and that is hardly a genuine issue with a game that's under active development. And given the quality of the content, it is absolutely no surprise it takes time to create.
Original review for 0.4.0 Very interesting read, but my only real complaint about the current version is how you only get to pick one tf before it just stops at the start of day 8. I'm not too familiar with Twine, but since everything for it was already created elsewhere, I'm surprised it didn't let you go through the routine and explore town until the slumber party it said would happen. Regardless, very promising and I'll be following development raptly
5.0 Review: Adds both a lot and very little, but still does it well. I wish it were closer to completion, but that's more a product of time.The new content with Collette's psycho sleepover is fun and has much content, which can even become vastly easier depending on intel and equipment from prior events. 9/10 for this update content
If I had a few small critiques, it's that even with how feminine mc can get in mind by current end of story (only one day past prior version) it would firstly be that the outfit you can get at boutique and the strappy dress you find with the dildo day one can't be worn. Additionally, with how shallow the day count is, and how late the changes start, you can only see 2 body tfs before end of dev which just leaves one very wanting. My hopes are both high because of quality, and somewhat low because of dev time between updates (although I know it can be tough developing stuff)
All in all, a highly incomplete game, but still worth a 8/10
